my firm is very generous w leave time, and i've been here 8 years (vacation day bank grows every year), so i basically get more time than i can even use.

nope, that's the only problem. so i'm always racing to try and find days to take off at the end of the year.

i work for myself. i usually take about a month vaca...broken up into 2 weeks.

that's the other thing. i work for a bank so we have to take a mandatory 2 week vacation (AML policy) at some point every year. so basically ~10 of those vaca days (depending on whether or not there is a holiday) are used for that.
