How Much Pressure Is On Rockstar To Deliver With GTA 6?

GTA5 came out over 10 years ago at this point....


it seems like the entire game industry is waiting with bated breath to see what Rockstar is going to do with GTA6

are they going to show us a vision of the future and a true next evolution of the open world genre (that Cyberpunk was supposed to back in 2020)?


I mean RDR2 is still one of the most "next-gen" games I've played the last few years and that came out in 2018...makes me wonder what Rockstar has cookin' with GTA6

I think a lot of companies are gonna watch how they handle GTAO and its continuation/sequel or whatever they plan on doing just because of the sheer amount of money and consistency in players and progress.

Same with Minecraft and its future

There isn't any pressure on Rockstar when it comes to GTA6. RDR2 did fine, so I'm sure GTA6 will do even better. All they really need to do is copy everything they did in Los Santos and just make it the Vice City/Miami version.

its pretty hard to fukk up GTA. only way i can see them fukking it up is if they make it to where there are micro transactions in the story and the story being flat out terrible.
