Hell a perfect example is Cooper Manning. That dude got it twice as bad, his football career ended before it even began and both his brothers are in the NFL. You think that dude just sat around and was like naw my lil bro's will take care of me while I do nothing.

Seriously, you're out of your depth. There's plenty of people with more money than Blake Griffin who do nothing for their family. Besides, we're not talking about being taken care of. We're talking about the idea that I'm rich, and subsequently my brother is rich (i.e. immediate family). Moreover, I'm pretty sure we have significantly dissenting views of what it even means to be "taken care of." If I were rich, and if my father hypothetically lived in a fukking shack in Mississippi (the house they showed Rice's parents in was basically a shack), just because I paid the light bill and rent there that wouldn't mean anything to me. Ultimately, he's still living in a damn shack.
We can talk about agency and autonomy, but it's inconsequential in this matter. All of these people that willingly forgo better circumstances for themselves (when it is a truly viable option), and reject the betterment of their own self-interests on some "just because," shyt are fukking unicorns. I haven't met one such person in my 20 something years of living.

I don't see how any of what you said means that Blake should be obligated to take care of Taylor or he owes him something.
For one, it kinda is his fault Blake turned out to be the better player. Athletic differences aside, Blake is clearly one of the hardest working players in the league... that's the main reason for his success more than anything else. And by Blake sacrificing millions to play with Taylor, that would mean Taylor should owe him more than the other way around.
And of course nobody goes broke from one family member, but where does it stop? If he's taking care of his brother, then that means he's taking care of his parents. If he's taking care of his parents, then he's probably taking care of THEIR parents as well. If he's going to take care of Taylor, then he'll end up having to take care of Taylor's wife and Taylor's children... plus his own wife and his own children. But why stop there? Now he's taking care of his wife's family and Taylor's wife's family.
It's a slippery slope when you let somebody leech off of you, even your own blood.
Edit: And I know you probably weren't saying that Blake owed Taylor, but it's the point I wanted to get across anyway.
