Depends on how quick I get my food really. If it takes longer than 35-40 from the time I order then no tip.

And that delivery charge isn't a tip. it's a surcharge for the gas. Back when I was working at pizza hut drivers was paid a small amount per delivery in addition to their hourly pay and tips.

I tip $2.50 because my order is always $23.50 and I don't feel right just giving $25. I always pull out the extra dollar, BUT the pizza place is only 3 blocks from my house. They deliver in like 10 minutes and I order sometimes twice a week

The tip argument never gets old. The fools can have a $5 delivery fee and dummies will come in here and say" the driver has it hard" "he depends on tips" yadah yadah. I delivered groceries in NYC in the dead of winter on 134th street pushing carts through snow on brick roads. I never came away with less than $80 bucks a day.

Some fools would even tip a 25cents like I gave a fukk. It's my job I didn't have to work there. And I never though about tampering w/ someone's food either.

20% you scumbag

Why 20%? What is the difference from pulling a small pizza for $10 verses a $20 pizza out of that thermal bag.

They ain't cook the pizza. I can honestly say the labor they spend on a $50 order equals the labor on a $15 order.:manny:

Clearly a fifty dollar order is going to either require more strength or more trips to the car. And usually a driver doesn't get the delivery charge. That's why I can't work in any field that involves working directly with people, people ain't shyt.

:rudy: putting that bag over your shoulder and walking 20feet from the store to the car to the house is really worth that much more money. The difference between a cheese pizza and a works pizza of the same size can be a difference of $10+ :stopitslime:.

Misplaced anger, you need to be getting at everybody but the customer. You need to made at the game. Customers who don't tip also contribute to the business.

The fact is delivery people are expendable, that's why the owner don't give a fukk about y'all :pachaha:.

Why don't y'all strike:manny:
