How much credit does The Game get for the decline of G-Unit?

There's no question that Game did damage to G-Unit for the simple fact that they seemed invincible before that. A lot of people thought The Massacre was meh or just ok at best but the sales and stans made it impossible to argue a fall off was occurring. Game changed that equation rap/music wise and allowed people to talk about that shyt openly. Seemed obvious that the 50 of a couple years prior would murk Game on wax but he was a different/worse rapper now (2005).

But to me the main factor in the decline was 50. Same reason he couldn't come up with a memorable diss: he fell off. The hubris was too much, the entitlement was crazy, and he started chasing hits while making worse records overall.

Would he tho? Maybe youre speaking on the general perception back then but if not? i disagree.

What made Game survive was multiple things. Obviously the Henchman thing, him bein the underdog etc. But Game was/is as much as a
looney as 50. He's also very good at the insults/jokes, held nothin back and mostly is lyrically better than 50.

Someone like Nas was/is a better lyricist but he prolly couldnt hang on the insult tip and just talkin shyt, while 50 could.

Buck staying in trouble and Banks being lazy was why they declined. 50 started dissing jimmy and left interscope. He was supposed to drop one more album with them

Just show how toxic a personality 50 became. First two albums sold 15 million and got dropped with one album left on his deal :wtf: dude fell out with the whole industry except Eminem.

Even Game with all his fukkery fulfilled his Interscope contract and never had a problem getting top producers and guests after going independent.

Game is a poison to the industry, his label mates and anything in and of itself.

His bipolar ass is a huge reason to the decline of g unit. Kicking buck off didn't hurt them.

Game said that he was gonna turn rogue on em… sadly it worked. Jim Jones is a hoe too.

When Buck tried to pull the same shyt as Game, 50 had evidence of Buck being a punk tucked in the stash. Unlike Buck, Game was cool with others.

Once Buck got kicked off, folks kinda distanced themselves from him. Jeezy and them who Buck was dikk riding, stopped taking his calls.

At least Game had a good rapport with Weezy. The RED album was supposed to come out in 09 but kept getting pushed back.

By 2009, the South was really poppin and 50 had released some sleepers(Murder by Numbers And War Angel LP). When Jay and Diddy were getting behind Rawse to spite 50, I knew the game had changed.

Game did major damage to G-Unit fanbase pride because G-Unit was presented as invincible and Game bullied em by himself. Bandwagon jumped off after that.

But, real battle was won because Game consistently made heat from 2005-2016. And G-Unit was mostly ass after 2005. Listen to some of them 2007-2009 tracks :scust: most that shyt was pathetic, nobody except 50's Balkan stanbase would say otherwise.
This is the truth right here. Anyone there real time can’t deny this regardless of how some feel about Game outside the booth
