I bought my Switch in 2019 and it was really to just play BoTW and Fire Emblem.
Nintendo need a core game series that i really like to get me in. I don’t really go crazy for their mario and mario spinoff titles anymore.

Have a Wii, Wii U and Switch and have never played them more than PS3/PS4/PS5/Series X.
If it had PS5/Series X-level graphics and more games beyond Mario, Zelda etc., I'd buy it sooner and pay full freight. Nintendo has a lot of fans, so I could see them charging $500 and selling these things like hotcakes. Honestly though, it just doesn't make sense considering all the games still look cartoony and a generation behind the current tech.
