This is how I do it too, except my barbershop is in my bathroom. Stopped going to the shops once my sons started needing cuts regularly. Damn good decision too.

I'm ashamed to tell you what type of clippers I have right now. But I will upgrading soon. I will start to watch youtube videos to learn how to tape and blend. But yeah you save alot more when you cutting and lining up your own shyt

Lining yourself up is easy, unless you've got a tricky hairline. If your hairline is doing the Lebron then thats a different story. Otherwise it's nothing to it. I would also say that no barber is going to care as much about the quality of your cut than you do. A good barber who's actually making money is usually busy. He cutting heads in 20-25 mins. I spend an hour on my cut/shave and I just rock 1/4 inch even.
