But you know, every year in between isn't as important as those ones :hubie: we deserve a 4 year break for taking part in groundbreaking history, let's not worry about our mayors, governors, and legislature :troll:

Look the term may be abused but I don’t know how you cannot view each election with urgency when Trump in just 4 years was able to shape the judicial branch in a way that will impact this country for decades
He got lucky, and the Dems did their usual weak shyt. (Im)perfect storm.

democrats controlled both wings of congress and had a chance to reverse that by expanding the supreme court’s bench and packing the court.

for some reason, they decided not to.

Maybe because every election has consequences that far exceed the term of the president. People to this day still are feeling the effects of reganomics and the consequences of the bush wars in the Middle East. We just had the last president be able to tip the Supreme Court in his party’s favor for potentially the next 40 years

It’s somewhat disturbing that you guys are voting age adults and can’t see this
I think you’re somewhat missing the point. Politicians using the “most important election” as scare tactic is disgusting

Sell me off of your policies, break down what the other side has failed at. Pulling the same dated trick is disrespectful to any voting age adult.

If cacs wouldn't stop taking away people's rights we wouldn't have these problems.

This is what I give older generations credit for- they took shyt, especially their rights as citizens of the United States seriously.

Also it's voting

:mjlol:you sisses and retards act like you have to do a day of working on a roof.

I don't say this enough but the main issue with these think pieces about the importance of voting:

Voting is such a low risk venture that even if it's "meaningless" there's almost zero cost so there's almost no downside.

Voting is about like waiting for a table at a busy restaurant. A lot of times it's about like hitting McDonalds on a week day at lunch time.

Even if there's a slight chance voting has an effect, it's worth it. Cause the cost is about as low as it gets.

Trump will stay in power for at least 4 terms if we let him back in the white house (if he lives long enough) such things we havent seen since FDR , in other words magadictatorship :troll:

So you have no expectation of yourself to be informed?

normally it's bullshyt, but id actually say it's true about 2024. america cannot reward that fukkin fakkit trump for what he did on january 6th. he has to be beat down and crushed
The powers that be rewarded him by giving him a slap on the wrist, and a lot of Americans obviously don’t give a fukk about it, and really u could say they don’t give a fukk cause the people who supposed to check him didn’t check him
