This story wasn't about me. Just saying getting ahead and trying to get ahead ain't the same. Some people get ahead without doing shyt at all. Some people try and try do all the "right" things and never get ahead. Enjoy life while you can, because waiting for shyt to get "right" will leave you fukked up.

Man shut the fukk up. Trying to get ahead is what usually makes people disgruntled. Filling out endless job applications. Job applications are overly complicated these days, even for "shyt jobs". No application should take an hr. to fill out. Not a single one. You take overtime at work, they cut overtime and your car needs $1500 in repairs. Your hot water heater fails. You take a piece of shyt second job, you're tired as shyt. Your wife is complaining that you don't have time and now you don't even have money. You go to school to get a trade further your degrees. You still have less time and even less money. All in hopes of getting a "fantasy" job.

I see a lot of people on the coli are ready to talk about how the world is kicking them when they're down and life is so hard and school is getting rough and they aren't prepared and etc.


...but how many of you are honestly taking advantage of every waking second to get what you want out of life?

Like what did you do today? Sleep and eat (its saturday)

Did you fill out ANOTHER app? nope

Did you study an extra hour? nope

Did you honestly iron your clothes? nope

Did you read that extra paragraph? nope

Did you speak to that mentor/advisor? nope

I mean...what is it that seems to be hurting so many of you? the economy

I know. We are all different. Some of ya'll gotta work to support the fam or drive that longer commute...but so what?

The fact that its NOT easy is the point. Its not going to get easier either. duh

We gotta start holding ourselves accountable to certain things. No one owes us anything out here folks owe me money.
