"Marilyn Manson" and "VaMpireZ ChaT" and "Left Hand Path" chat rooms were my stomping grounds
my usernames back then were... xFailedx..LaTeXH0..and CheMicALGirl (this was the height of my goth phase )

when my free trial ran out ..my goth e-wife (don't ask) put me onto the credit card phishing progz that would scan and generate fake mastercard and visa numbers...used those for awhile but when they got unlimited hours i signed up for the service.

Aol...Compuserve...Prodigy ...Peoples PC...Juno..Netzero....had em AT ALLLLLLL at some point! i miss the 90's.

My dad signed us up like the first month it existed and we had 5 HOURS a week to use as the pay plan. And somehow it was usually enough

I think the next upgrade was 50 hours a month. Used to be like when it was the 16th and i had like 47 hours logged.

The WWW was just like an app at that point. Barely any sites worth goin to. That pic up above is what was poppin. You went into a category and off games, chat rooms, pics, and articles.

I used to be such a menace back then that those nikkas kicked me off the internet and wouldn't let my parents log back in until they called AOL so they could snitch on me.

Damn man...started getting online in like 97 when i was about 9 or 10...what yall know about that Netscape Navigator life?? Sh1t was DUMB slow and you'd have to wait for that little globe to stop spinning, to go to another webpage...wow, crazy how sh1t has changed in such a short time..these kids got it made
