If you believe in God , you would also have to believe In all the other crazy stories like a dude living inside a whale or a guy living in an ark with every known animal....and that's just too much for me

Why is this only applied to God? Especially given all this stuff is translated and potentially distorted by men.

I believe in plenty of other stuff and don't believe everything about it, at least not at face value.

i think quarrelling about the law is pointless, observing it for yourself is not

i think we should look at the law as something we use only when we absolutely must, otherwise show mercy and forgive as much as possible as that is what we would hope for given that we are all sinners and have fallen short

Honestly, I’m leaning towards no, and I’ve felt that way for at least a year now. I’ve seen too many people doing the wrong thing, and be rewarded, and people doing everything right, and still struggling. And that applies to finances, relationships, health, etc. Then people talk about God’s plan, and it makes it even worse.

I’m a deist, I don’t believe in theism at all, non-interventionist diety has been the most plausible to me. Was toggling from theism to atheism during prepubescence a lot, then finally leaned fully into deism during adolescence after a short stint of agnosticism.​
