It's more of an Arab issue than a Muslim issue. It's not just Indians that work there, but also people from Bangladesh and Pakistan (predominantly Muslim countries).

The Arabs over there, generally speaking of course, treat everyone else as second class citizens even if they are Muslim.

no disrespect but its obvious now that we learning about islam that elijah Muhammad, Malcolm x and muhamad ali etc made a serious error in judgement in trying to get black people to align themselves with islam and suggesting it is representative of black people

you got people here that say things like "muslims are the only people that stood up to slavery" or "africa would be better of under an arab dictator", those are examples of what happens when people dont do their due diligence and end up jumping from the frying pan into the fire

Islam goes beyond race. When your muslim other people(muslims) see you as muslim more so than your race or ethnicity IMO.

You go to a mosque anywhere you will see blacks,arabs,indians,whites all praying together.Whereas you have white churches,black churches, asian churches all seperate.

I have to disagree with saying islam is based on Arab culture.
You have 90% Plus muslim countries like indoneasa which practice East Asian culture more than the culture of arabs despite being muslim.
