I agree, "College Dropout" is really his only Classic with "Late Registration" being borderline. "Graduation, Dark Fantasy" were just solid 4 or 4.5 MIC albums. "808's and Yeezus" were both uneven.

Me personally, I got CD, LR, Grad, and MBDTF...but I could see how grad & cd would be disqualified to the masses

I could also see how the skits, maybe 2 tracks, and kanye's poor lyricism (he's never been a beast lyrically, but this was truly him with room for growth) detract from CD

"Hey Mama" is my weak linke for LR but not enough to dismiss it being classic

Graduation has songs that cause people to love or hate it like Barry bonds or drunk and hot girls, but I think the mood of that album was seamless

MBDTF is just dope front to back IMO

yeezus is a mediocre/decent album, it is widely praised as a mediocre album, critics don't mean shyt when the audience ain't supporting them.

to me his first 3 are classic..but i'm a stan.. MBDTF is a great great album..just about perfect..but its lacking something that keeps me from calling it classic..idk what it is.

LR and MBDTF are definitely classics. I would throw Graduation in there too but Drunk & Hot Girls is honestly one of the wackest songs I've ever heard from Kanye. 808s could be classic only due to impact on hip-hop but it was still a great album.
