No it's definitely genetics and dedication, I was reading an article, I believe it was men's health back in 04, and his regimen is insane. He eats like 5000 calories a day and works out about 6-8 hours a day and his workouts are insane.

it doesn't really matter if you lift at that age bc your physique will still look like shyt. it will be obvious that you do some exercising, but the shyt won't look right compared to your younger years.
At his age? Motivation is the #1 answer.
