I don't like it anymore than the next black man but lets be reality, these rulings ain't addressing any amount of swag in the celebrations so any assumptions we may have about the motivations behind WHY these leagues are doing this, may or may not be valid. The rulings themselves tho are NOT racist.

I would be interested in hearing an argument to the contrary. What is the reasoning behind penalizing basic celebrations in the NFL, and to a lesser extent the NBA, and why is this done in predominately black sports? Its such a downer to see, and it make the leagues come across like black athletes are animals that need to be controlled.

You are actually proving the argument that punishment for celebrations is in part racist. Soccer, especially in Europe is still majority white, hence the reason there is little to no punishment for celebration. Punishments are only brought in when you want to "control" the image of your sport.

Really, I watch between 3-5 soccer games a week. It rarely happens. When it does, ite because the celebration took too long. Mind you, this is in a sport where there are no timeouts and the clock is always running.
