Where did you read that??? If thats true..wtf was the point of showing her us and not just waiting till the end...

I thought they showed her to us so that they would have episodes with her in it next season showing how her and Ted almost met many times...since alot of the his stories over the years have been "Your mother was in the same place...blah blah blah"...Like she was in the shower while he was dating that one chick....was in his class when he was a teacher...at a that club on saint patricks day...in the street while it was raining one day...
:whoa: She's going to be in all of the episodes next season breh

I wouldn't say the mother is ugly or anything, but you would think after building up to this for eight seasons, there would've been more of a "wow" factor.

I have finally caught up to show, since i started watching it in October or November. I just watched the season finale. Tell me why EVERY chick that Ted has dated in this show ALL look better than the mother?

i just started to watch the re-runs that come on fox. the show is pretty good. it's not as funny as the big bang theory, but it keeps me entertained for an hour, when i have nothing better to watch. is it just me, or is that dude jason segel never that funny? he's been running with seth rogen and the rest of that crew, since forever, and yet anytime he's on screen, i just want to turn the tv off. it's like they just felt sorry for the guy and brought him along for the ride. i completely forgot he was on freaks and geeks, and undeclared, until i watched them both again on netflix.

"Taking place immediately after where the previous season left off, Season 9 will cover the events of a single weekend that lead up toBarney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin's (Cobie Smulders) wedding.[4] During the course of the weekend, "The Mother" (Milioti) will separately be introduced to Robin, Barney, Lily (Alyson Hannigan), and Marshall (Segel), before finally meeting Ted (Josh Radnor). The season will also feature frequent flashbacks and flashfowards in order to fully integrate The Mother's character with the rest of the cast.[5]Thomas said in an interview that Season 9 is like "the Wild West - anything can happen."[4]

On February 2013, Bays and Thomas teased that Season 9 is "going to be a new way to tell the story".[6] The initial reaction to the new storytelling structure of Season 9 was mixed. Ethan Anderton from Screen Rant was concerned about how "24 episodes of television are going to be crafted from just three days of time,"[7] and Alan Sepinwall of HitFix was exasperated that after eight seasons, "they are really going to stretch Robin and Barney's wedding weekend out over the entire final season"."
