How hilarious is it that less people COMBINED are watching NXT/AEW than RAW or SD on a bad week

I think a lot of us just aren’t into the small indyish presentation

I wasn’t even watching NXT when it had Wednesday’s all to itself. It’s just not presented in a big enough way to make me feel it’s important.

AEW just has a bigger feel. I’m watching that 10 times out of 10 over NXT

:yeshrug:
Yeah i get that. Its not for everyone. Ive been to every Brooklyn Takeover, an NXT house show and a TV Taping. While the house show felt like an indy show (this is right before Balor was announced to have signed) the TV taping felt like a huge WWE production in a small intimate setting which was a pretty cool vibe. Its presented differently than shall we say NWA in the soundstage which is meant to be old school but to each their own of course.

Even that wasnt the point I was trying to make. I was saying the perception that wrestlers get between promotions is fukking weird. Even the initial perception of Moxley from WWE to AEW is weird.

Nah I get you..

I just think a lot of people are full of shyt and have clear biased agendas, yet pretend to be objective

Dean Ambrose caught so much hate during his WWE run on this site alone, but once he showed up in AEW he was a savior all of a sudden. It would be the same thing if someone who’s universally hated here, like say a Seth Rollins, decided he was all in tomorrow.

and you said it yourself about Joe and AJ.. even Steen. Steen used to get shyt on for his physique and acne for years, yet once he showed up in the WWE as Kevin Owens, all of a sudden people wanted to ride his nuts..

I guess that’s just the business. The stans will do all the mental gymnastics it takes to convince themselves of why the show they prefer is the show to prefer

The Ambrose thing was weird because those that watched him before he got to WWE always saw the potential and were even excited for that aborted angle with Mick Foley they tried to start. Then Vince got his hands on him and perception changed (for good reason). Rollins was loved until he was booked as a bland babyface and he started shytting on Moxley on social media which was a bytch move.

I see some mental gymnastics on both sides which is dumb but the spirit of stannery. The biggest infraction of this is the fact that most people hate Vince's booking so much they will either A) hate watch the company or B) completely turn on the wrestler
