Someone said earlier that Drake making a grown up accountability album would be a good look and that may actually work. Him doubling down like he's a gangsta won't work. Him making us dance is going to get him clowned because he's doing what Kendrick is telling him to.
A grown up album honing up to all the toxic things he's done, and how he's taking action being a better man can maybe give his career a resurgence. He's almost 40, embrace getting older, it ain't bad, and I'm younger than this duds by some years.
With all that's been exposed about him on a national level, people will be emphasing on him being a 38 year old man still trying to act young which would easily Segway into his grooming/pdf allegations. Also start messing with girls his age group.
Dumbest advice ever. What resurgence does he need? Drake is currently the most Streamed artist in the world right now. All he needs to do is exactly what he has always been doing. Making hit songs. You dont abandon your core audience to appease a small irrelevant amount of hip hop purist who are not even your fans and don't listen to your music.
In the real world most people don't care. Only folks taking this seriously are on social media. I was out last and the dj played about 5 or 6 Drake songs in his set and everyone was dancing to them like they always have. He only played 1 Kendrick song which was not like us which folks vibed to as well. In the end nobody cared.
