People who "say" this don't know how to cook a well done steak properly. Also the particular cut of beef is a factor in having a good well done steak, as some cuts are better suited for well done steaks than others.

I’m no beef connoisseur but I’ve always been told a well done steak kills the nutrients. And a well done steak is generally always dry as hell.

I always get a better flavoring when it’s medium or medium rare.

True, but this isn't a factor for me, as I'm not concerned with the overall nutrient value of the beef.

If you have the right cut of beef & it's properly marinated & slightly tenderized the steak won't be dry. Also the key is making sure that you don't over cook the steak, which is another reason
people have tough steaks that aren't very enjoyable. The best way to achieve this (if you're grilling) is to broil your marinated steaks for a period of time which allows the meat to cook inside without effecting the overall texture of the meat before you place them on the grill.

What do you mean exactly when you say cut? Isn’t that like New York strip, t-bone, etc?
