If you have the right cut of beef & it's properly marinated & slightly tenderized the steak won't be dry. Also the key is making sure that you don't over cook the steak, which is another reason
people have tough steaks that aren't very enjoyable. The best way to achieve this (if you're grilling) is to broil your marinated steaks for a period of time which allows the meat to cook inside without effecting the overall texture of the meat before you place them on the grill.
