For my busy brehs with high achieving careers/big families/lots of hobbies etc.

How do you balance finding time to play video games when there are so many other things that demand your time?
With new video game releases trying to pad out play times longer an longer it seems like most adult players don't even see the ending to the games they buy. What's your favorite way of finding time and keeping up with the hobby while handling all the other things in life you want to put your attention to?

I work, sometimes, 100+ hours a week, I have a 7 month old, and my girl is super clingy. I either stay up late, play while our kid is napping, or I’m pretending to be doing something important while PC gaming. I had my PlayStation in a bonus room upstairs but, like a fool, I moved it into our bedroom. My girl also doesn’t mind if I play for a long time because she will do the same when she’s playing “Hogwarts Legacy”.

I don't I usually have 1-2 days a week to actually play the games and it's only 1-3 hrs depending on my daughters schedule...:to:. that's why I'm always confused about people complaining about the lack of games...but it has slowed down me buying new games a $70 a pop like I used. Usually by then time I'm done the next game I want is on sale for like $50

I have ebbs and flows where sometime I’m gaming consistently and some times I don’t even turn on my shyt. Just kinda depends on if life is busy or not. I’m on holiday leave now and don’t have a lot going on so I’m tryna catch up on games.

I’m also tryna get better at gaming in short spurts (1-2 hours) consistently, I find it actually relaxes me more as opposed to scrolling on my phone. So get home, get everything ready for work, shower, stretch etc then game before bed.

Since I like single player, movie games I tend to like longer play sessions so I can really take my time and those are not always feasible when life is lifing.

There’s a lot of downtime in IT. Can’t help but to make time. It’s either games or doomscrolling on TikTok.

I used to play FFXIV with people from work while on the job. That’s how I had so much time to waste in Diablo 4.
