How Do You Feel About Reparations for Slavery?

what does that have to do with anything?
Ain't gonna happen, the U.S. treasury is broke and the descendants of the slave owners have their wealth tucked away in untouchable trust funds, many being offshore.
I'd venture to say that everyone alive today in this country can say they are affected by slavery, for better or worse. Our nation could never have become a superpower if it wasn't for free labor. Much of the success and comfort that people of all colors enjoy in this country today is a byproduct of slave labor. The racism that caused slavery, segregation, and that still exists today gave blacks serious disadvantages which resulted in extreme poverty among other things. The "reparations" you speak of are results of the poverty, and they're only given to maintain a sense of civility, not out of the goodness of the government officials' hearts. Reparations should be given to African and Native Americans, in various forms. People say other ethnic groups earned, or took what they have now, and that is true, but most of those groups are just from different european countries (all white) that arrived in America at different times, and most "earned" what they have through organized crime, which today just couldn't be done due to technology, not to mention would we really advocate that kind of behavior as a way to "earn" their spot. By the way I'm white so I ultimately have no dog in this fight, other than being a decent human being looking at things as objectively as I can. Outside of this happening, which I don't think it will, I'd have to say that the logical thing to do would be for minority groups, really all underprivileged people, to unite against the government and truly take what they deserve, by force or nonviolent noncooperation.

The only ones giving away free land to A.A. is a couple of countries in West Africa but be prepared to invest and roll up your sleeves. Ain't gonna get jack chit in this country. The Congressional Black Caucus might as well disband. There's no black power on Capitol Hill.

no shyt, I'm just given the brotha remedy for the U.S. being broke. It has been broke since 1933, but land is valued more. Please don't even mention the c00n black caucus. Even c00n Obama was against reparations, he was even against bringing it up at the UN. 14 Caribbean nations sued 3 countries from Europe because of reparations.

wealth is trickled down, the many banks you see, financial institutions all benefited from slavery. Again, they shouldn't any heirs to their estate then with that kind of logic.
-sure, but in the form of land that cannot be taken back through ridiculous property taxes
-not in the form of any kind of money unless its in pure gold/silver that can be used to back up a newly formed bank and institutions specifically for building infrastructure
-yes, in the form of grants to put kids in schools/colleges, who otherwise woudnt go because their families cant afford it
-no, in the form of welfare or any govt/state assistance programs that simply encourage ratchtness/laziness/complacently
-yes, in the form of the abolition of private prisons that are using (mostly) black labor to produce all sorts of shyt most of us dont even know about
-no, in the form federal/state/local law enforcement turning a blind eye to the fukkery that will result in the form of blacklash from the white majority (IT WILL fukkEN HAPPEN)
-yes, in the form of the FCC giving a parcel of radio, TV, and communication frequencies so we can start our own media companies (frequencies are important)
