Folks have to understand we're nearly 50 years away from the civil rights act that I still believe to this day did nothing for our ppl other than to be more complacent. The mentality of those that may have opposed a so called black or latino population still exists. If there wasn't any resistance, then the convolution of history wouldn't exist, social inequality wouldn't exist on any level whether economical, political, entertainment..etc There's still a certain group who passes off as the majority but are truly a minority to the entire globe. Only through brainwashing which has been very much effective have knock down our ppl from greatness.

Businesses and family's of today benefited from what their great great great grandparents acquired through slavery. If that's your rationale, then they should be stripped of what was given to them because it's blood money.

You mean to tell me spending 5 years in a camp (which was justified since we were at war with Japan and we had no idea of where the Japanese immigrant's allegiances lied) is more worthy of reparations than 400 years of slavery, rape, lynchings, and discrimination?

Yes, that has always been my position. Not to take anything away from Martin, I just didn't understand his approach of wanting to be accepted by the Euro's at that time. It honestly stopped us from being more involved and supporting of our own. I will give Martin this, before he died, he started to change his position a bit. He understood that no matter what you accomplished or what legislation was passed to grant you PRIVILEGES, they still considered beneath them. Yes, they will accept your money, but they will never ever accept you in society.
