Dope, but will eventually be useless one day maybe

*waits for all books to be digitized and then all old people working there lose their jobs* :mjpls:

I like studying at them like 30% of the time I study :yeshrug:

They're great, but they're not needed as much anymore...I can't remember the last time I was at a library and I read actual books...I just buy them at a bookstore though.

A real physical book will always be better than digitized e-books.

Would you rather have an mp3 or a vinyl or CD?

I swear nikkaz are creating their own Matrix with this cloud network farce.
:yeshrug: you can't deny the future breh.

Convenience is king, and always will be.

shyt written with a quill professionally is way better than typing in terms of aesthetics.....

It's a myth.

The worst dystopian future would still have physical books as a luxury that only the rich could afford, while the poor would use e-books.

I think you're underrating the human experience and need to touch something physical, plus I don't care what anyone says, looking at a screen is like some kind of blackhole, disconnect from reality that limits its utility.

Did humans miss writing things on papyrus?

Did they miss typewriters?

Are they missing physical photographs?

You are overestimating that need and underestimating the human love of convenience as well as adaptation.

The difference between papyrus and paper isn't a difference in medium. It could be argued paper is just lightweight papyrus, if you'd like.

Typewriters are means to produce, not a medium. It could be argued that a keyboard is just a more efficient typewriter. The end result still ends up on paper.

Physical photos :what: People still get their photos developed breh

It literally has nothing to do with convenience cause I would argue a person who reads tons of books aren't lazy in the first place

Like I said, don't let them sell you that fantasy so they can turn books into a luxury item and do what they did with McFood, McClothes, McMusic, etc
