I know Last Week Tonight is currently winning Emmy's but not to have Oliver on during the week during peak Trump is a mistake

Nah 3 times a week would dilute the show and make it weaker. You can’t have deep dives about subjects,which is the main driving force of the show not recaps, without quickly becoming repetitive and watering down the product.

Once a week is perfect for that show. Once a week allows the show to do deep dive journalism instead of just cracking jokes about whatever stupid shyt trump just did.
