If you instill pride in something you would be surprised how many people would turn down a check for something bigger than money that why I'm saying it could happen in a couple of generations from now, it's not like college athletes are making any money right now

But the ultimate goal IS money, nobody at any level of college football is trying to make it to the Arena league or the CFL. they all wanna go to the NFL. and lets dead this college athletes not making any money. Anybody around big time athletics no their are perks of being apart of the football team. Especially if you are a star player. in many cases it is money, if not directly then indirectly.

You dudes don't even know your own history. Black people had black millionaire owners in the negro baseball leagues, but because of our inherent need to mingle with white people we gave that up to play in the MLB.

If football players (college or nfl) stopped playing today and put all of those millions of dollars together they could create their own nfl instantly. Don't say people wouldn't watch it, we're the most talented athletes in the world. Doesn't make any sense that there's hardly any black people making money off of sports when it's literally OUR shyt!

Vast majority of athletes don't even give a damn about shyt like this, not sure the majority of Black people in general do. You'd have to raise the next generation of athletes differently to even start thinking about something like this

Leborn, Curry and KD and all the rest of these black entertainers should at least try and do it.
This should be in the making, been in the making.
They could do it.
They are already 40 million dollar slaves, a good book that talks about this topic.

It's time for us to get our own.
Most prolly don't know as started Scott Foster started the Negro League and there were black owners.
Also Jackie Robinson wasn't the 1st black player to play in the Majors, the Majors back then was considered boring as fukk and couldn't keep fans in the stands until when black players started being integrated into the league.
Style and finese came that made the majors more enjoyable to watch. Willie Hayes was one and others who brought style to the majors. The Negro League had the flash and style in their game thus them making their game more appealing

Know your history

Blacks use to be the best jockey, blacks created hockey and blacks dominant boxing.
I don't know why one like LeBron and KD and others who would see a billion pool their money together and start a Black League.
Ppl will support, get these white owners out of the business and start our own.
Are we that small of thinking to not do this?

I think we could start small with an alternative basketball league that plays during the summer and go from there. We need some big $$$ behind it, tho.

Bumping. Wouldn't be hard to start something small, and siphon dudes from the professional leagues. You wouldn't get the massive talent, but probably benchwarmers looking for exposure. You wouldn't have a pretty stadium, but do you really need that? We're in the age of streaming, just put a link on Twitch or something and let advertisers pay to push their products for revenue.
