darkroom basically been finished ever since nuestra familia caught that crackdown and nikkas started snitchin, sir dyno and i forgot who else was on the fukking 700 CLUB. let me repeat this. SIR DYNO, WAS ON THE 700 CLUB.

also, darkroom nikkas caught hell because they never paid anybody anything, youd do a feature and they wouldnt pay you. they also did songs with nikkas. but check this shyt out. this is why chicano rap is trash.

much like in my country of brazil, institutionalized racism, ignorance, lack of exposure to blacks and just the idea that being dark skin is associated with being dumb. being called an "indio" is a serious insult. thats honestly it in my opinion.

A lot of those from SE Houston were reppin Tango, post SPM getting locked up. Lil Bing being the more known out of them. And the thing about Houston Mexicans, they are the complete opposite than ones from Cali, as far as embracing the city's rap culture.

The only Mexican rap group that never disappointed back in the day in TX. These cats were blowing up, until they caught a drug case.

As a Chicano who was born and raised in Chicago. I couldn't really fukk with the Chicano west coast rap steez growing up, aside from Kid Frost. I definitely fukked with Cypress Hill, Psycho Realm, Delinquent Habits, ALSOB, Funkdoobiest.

Shyt, you ain't gotta tell me. I get alot of shyt from my Family in LA because of how I talk. They'll be quick to call me a "mayatero" when I say things that are said here in Texas. They look at me sideways when I "already" when I'm saying bye to them or whatever. It's cause we from Texas and have a twang or southern type of accent. They don't. Even their Spanish is different. But the Nortern Cali Mexicans are more like us though.
