Don't know about the other 2, but it's pretty well known that Cappadonna was driving a cab
I remember that. He even had a phone number so people could call and make donations or just say peace. I called once and a chick answered the jack and said "Love is Love" :dead::dead:

Is there money to be made investing in studios for recording? I'm assuming if you build a couple of them and charge by the hour you could make a nice little income on the side.
Stick to what you know friend. Home studios today consist of a laptop and mic. Home recording has never been easier/more popular.

That's like investing in newspaper and magazines in 2014 :heh:

You can still make money owning studios but it requires that you aim higher. At this point the expertise of your engineers is really what the money is for.

Most people don't. Medium income numbers are skewed tremendously because of the extremely rich kinda throw off proper calculations.

If you make 1K a show and only do 4 shows a month, you living better than the majority of this country
exactly.. 3-4k/mo.. to perform for possibly 6hrs total.. thats a come-up.. no way around it..

they get booked in Europe, lol. anybody who has any sort of knowledge about the inner workings of rap knows this is how these crusty, dusty, washed up mc's pay their rent, they get show dates in europe. over here a lot of these cats are dead to us, but over in Europe them oblivious white people worship these american rappers
Not just rappers or Hip Hop, American music that's long fell out of popularity here still gets
decent pull in other countries and I think it's got more to do with a genuine respect/love
for our music which is treated more like casual consumption here in America. And that isn't
to disregard the die hard's here in America, they go hard too but they're in fewer number
in comparison to their European counter parts. Of course both groups in general are fewer in number
than those who drive the pop charts.
