Idk if I can believe that. Whenever ppl from the show are on the breakfast club, charlemagne always alludes to them getting paid scraps. Ppl on shows like Curb your enthusiasm and the office don't even get paid that.

Well cast members on HBO shows don't get paid literally anything unless the have huge roles. I remember JB Smoove said he only got like a grand or so any episode which was crazy to me, but he said it was more about exposure

50K could be wrong, or maybe not. Don't have their contracts but I know they do make nice money and make a lot of money after the show ends doing appearances at clubs and stuff. Stevie J was caking like heavy after the show, going into the show he was basically homeless

The fading and struggling stars of shows like 'Love & Hip Hop' get like 50k a season, before taxes…it's either something to get you a look or in many cases a second look in the industry, raise your profile, or the last stop for burnt, broke and desperate stars of days long past.

You're right about shows like Curb and SNL being for exposure, those are highly coveted roles. Kind of like Jonah Hill only getting 60k for WoWs so he could work with Scorsese

I believe their real money is in the appearances. I can see Stevie J and Joseline possibly fetching 50k [actually nah I can't even see that] now but Peter Gunz :usure:. If they could get 50k an episode I'm sure they'd be pulling much bigger names. The Jersey Shore gets triple the viewership that Love and hiphop gets and they were making only 10k for the second season and 30k for the 3rd season

Nah, he would've been on one of those Forbes lists. They had Wale at 5 mil like a couple years ago. Fab isn't demanding more than him at this point.
Dude the forbes lists arent accurate, and they have previously explicitly stated they include people based on public interest.

They dont evaluate everyone who ever rapped and then list them in descending income order. They pick like 50 rappers who are interesting to their audience, evaluate them, and then rank them in income order.

If lil wayne was making 300k a gig he'd be on the Forbes list…now STOP IT.:camby:

Only way He's getting that is if he signed a Live Nation deal such as Jay Z….and I haven't seen Weezy do a stadium run YET.

Niccas and these imaginary performance fee's.:umad:

Forbes list doesn't even pretend to be an authoritative source. It doesnt include any and everyone or try to evaluate all rappers or put much effort into accurately evaluating their net worth.

Dudes, you cant believe everything you read on the internet. The forbes list is about as accurate as those celebrity net worth websites...

They may be inaccurate but they do get the people who are making the most money. They even had Tech N9ne this year breh. There is no argument for Fab making more money than Wale in 2014.

Dude, your talking oxymorons. Look the forbes list is NOT some financial breakdown of the rap industry. Its a fluff piece put together yearly, its not serious financial journalism. Its not researched. You get on the forbes list by either being popular, being high ranking in previous years, or having your publicist contact them to pitch you being included by presenting your alleged income.

I have no clue what Wale or Fab makes, I am not arguing for either of them. I am just making it clear, forbes richest rappers list is not a reliable source of anything financial. If Ski Lo made 10 million last year off of the stock market investments he isnt going to show up on the forbes list or richest rappers. Its not even a BALLPARK its just an entertainment puff piece.

Maybe if he was actually a industry artist who puts out projects, did features and performs regularly.

Then he'd be relevant. .

Bro, once you just misused the word oxymoron I stopped reading your post. But you're just arguing for the sake off arguing against stuff I never said.
