how did you watch ppv's back in the day?

With a 6 month delay on a Saturday, by the time chilean TV caught up with the product I was already watching via streams and lurking on SOHH
Same here, but change that to Peruvian or Bolivian TV

I had one of those filters that you hook up between the TV and cable wire.
one for PPVs, one for Cinemax and one for Disney channel and i had to switch them shyts all the time
the PPV one only came through in black and white for some reason tho. so if some really dope shyt happened my dad would get a tape from one of his coworkers and we'd rewatch it

Last wrestling ppv watched on hotbox: king of the ring 01 or 02 I think

Ppv channel was 37; playboy (from 8 pm to 6 am) was channel 38 as a kidChannel 64 on the grey box for ppv`s. Channel 1 for...Something to Spice up my evenings
In college was when I finally was able to get spice when I bought a new hot box from ebay that was able to get all the premiums with the higher channel numbers..having women in my dorm watching spice...i ate so well...damn digital takeover

My uncle would give me $50 at times when I seen him randomly, and I used all that shyt on ppv’s 
My mom would buy some if I’d get good grades or for my birthday
When I was 10, I used to visit my dad at work (he was a caretaker that made house calls) one of his clients was a huge wrestling fan, and him and his family would purchase the PPV’s every month and have a watch party. I remember going with him once to work, and while he was working upstairs, I was watching edge vs cena TLC match at unforgiven with the family in the basement.
They had hella food, drinks, music, and everything. I was like “
can I come here every month!!!”
Once i told my mom was like, “ I don’t know them people
“ and put a stop to that instantly
