Video came on Video Music Box constantly.....It was just another good song within the mix of other good songs that came out in 93. What stood out for me in the song is the dude who sounded just like Grand Puba

I can't remember where I first heard it. probably the radio and not the video. I think I got No Need for Alarm first, and that kinda put me on to them

It wasn't a better overall track, but SOM's debut single was way more lyrically :mindblown: than 93 Til Infinity. My jaw dropped to floor the first time I saw this video..

I remember sitting in my parents living room when Mike Nardone of We Came From Beyond dropped this song along with the B Side Let Em Know in late 92. I had never heard a group with 3 or more EMCEEs that lyrical before. The video just added to the dopeness of Souls.

som, were one of the culture's great sellout tragedies.

art barr

:what: because they didn't make 95 til Infinity?? because they incorporated more of the oakland funk into their production?? Because the album had more of a harder edge than 93 Til??

How did any of these songs give you the impression that they not only sold out but were one of Hip Hop's great sellout tragedy??

I don't see it. U may have not liked the direction they went from 93 til to No Man's Land but it far from selling out.

No Man's Land was very underrated album and Phesto's coming out lyrically party...oh and Op killed it too. The spittin on that album esp Dirty D's Theme was :blessed:

But good call on the robotech..I've watched like 8 episodes and its so fukking dope

look for "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross". it was the Japanese series they made Robotech from, but they cut it up, and changed a lot for American audiences. but now there's a direct english dub of the original out there. I think it's way better that the American version (Robotech: The Macross Saga). among other things, Minmei sings more than 3 different songs. it also has the Minmei shower-scene :takedat:

other than that, I don't know wtf Art's talking about....

I see @Art Barr has a history of calling people sell outs and running when people look for clarification in his accusations.

I gave clarification for it in the original rant.
Which is why you need not speak on a culture you were not there for.
Let alone cognitive for to even talk.
You don't know I already explained shyt like this over and over again, for a decade plus.
I ain't posed to be diggin in the crate for you, fool.
Everyman has to dig their own crate nikka,....

Go dig in the crate, fool,.......

Goof ass lame late to the dance ass nikkaz.
This shyt ain't handed out motherfukker,..like who are you not to search for the answers you seek.
You just mad, I am right and known for being that nikka that is right.
Now, move yo wrong answer having ass the fukk around.
Stop being a lame ignorant uncultured self deprecating goof lame.
That thinks he is doing something.
By presenting yourself to be, in more of an opportunity to verbally abuse you into killin yo self.

nikkaz move around,....
