1 of the most beautiful hiphop vids of alltime. Them nikkas repped the brighter side of East Oakland. Everybody was shooting vids in the slums but them nikkas took it to Yosemite which was beautiful. Love the song and vid.

Yeah, they weren't afraid to just be regular guys and have fun back when gangsta rap was being heavily marketed. Love this song and video

CHICAGO
after a lengthy delay and this dropped.
at the time it was the magnum opus.
i still remember buying this, on vinyl and where i copped it.
great memories till the toys and they sold out on no man's land and i never listened to them again.
except for once at the field house concert.
which by then,....
they had sold out so bad i really paid no attention to them rocking.

it was a long way from the depaul show where common first did, bytch in yoo.
som, were one of the culture's great sellout tragedies.

How did they sell out..they're independent now and they always talk shyt about the mainstream...if they wanted to sell out, they could easily water down their rhymes and have A plus and Domino make some trap/electro/pop beats..but naw they had Prince Paul, El P and the likes of Dan Automator do their beats..and I'm from Oakland so sometimes I see them...last time I saw phesto at a bar I told him that the radio station van was outside, and he said "fukkk those faggits"

But good call on the robotech..I've watched like 8 episodes and its so fukking dope

One of the GOAT summer time tracks.

Hearing stuff like this for the first time and being cats from Cali, to me it was very :leon: but then getting to know more of the Heiro crew in general, shyt was dope.

First time I saw this classic on Video Music Box, I was like :whoo: is this, where are they from because of the dope scenery :noah:, and how can a beat sound this heavenly. :ohlawd:

I was :mindblown: when I learned they were from Oakland.
