You saw Wilt play?

nikka how old are you :scusthov:

Nope, neva saw Wilt play - thats my youtube channel, I can make mixes like that and speak from what footage I study cuz I have access to just about all the footage that survives from Wilts era. I got enough to know how great he was (bout a dozen and a half games from NCAA - retirement, and some season highlights and clips from every season). I got enough to know how great his contemporaries were too. All I can say is if u write him and his era off by assuming it must have sucked due to his dominance than u missin out.

4 months from his 36th birthday with a fractured bone and sprained wrist on his shooting hand and 3 sprained fingers on the other - fresh off of sonning 25 year old Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson's Milwaukee Bucks...

..and he's dominating and wins FMVP

He was bigger, stronger, more athletic, better conditioned than everybody, played damn near every minute, game was played at a faster pace with more scoring in general, and he took a shytload of shots.

list info is different than barefoot heights my man - in Wilt's era people didn't lie about how big they are to impress the media and fans

go to draftexpress.com/measurements and look how "tall" modern players really are... Dwight Howard is 6-9 yet lists 6-11... Kevin Love 6-7 3/4 yet lists 6-10... meanwhile when I research Wilt's competition like say, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, or Bill Russell, I find out that Kareem is 7-1 7/8ths w/o shoes (listed 7-2) and Bill Russell was 6-9 5/8ths w/o shoes (listed 6-9)... so modern players inflate the sh*t out of their list info and players from Wilt's era either keep the list info grounded to their barefoot height or in some cases like Russell they actually sell themselves short. I've researched enough measurement info of 60's / 70's players to know that the league back then was no shorter than the players in the league right now

I didn't mean he was dominating because guys back then were small I was just showing the average height back then was bigger then some people think. Dope post though

The Average NBA Player Was 5'6", 110lbs, Unathletic And White That's How

Imagine How Lebron Do Against Catholic Middle School Kids

Yeah, wilt should have traveled the world and found guys closer to his height. He picked short competition on purpose.

thats true, the thing is he would be the same in todays NBA with just his late 60s and early 70s fitness regimen. If you give him modern fitness technique, I wonder how good he would be now :whoo:

He'd be bigger, stronger, and better conditioned than everybody :russ: No way would a coach today let him play every minute of every game and he would most certainly foul out at some point but there would be absolutely no stopping him.
