How did they manage to screw up SD Live so BAD?

John Cena going to Raw. Look at the Raw roster when it comes to main event talent. Reigns, Lesnar, Rollins. Cena being on Smackdown gave the show some type of credibility.

Plus cancelling Talking Smack was BS. It set it apart from Raw and was a unique way to further angles. I wouldn't be surprised by this time next year that Smackdown will be 2011-2015 level.

Once they shipped Cena back to Raw I knew it was over. Actually scratch that once they had him return as a "free agent" (), I knew it was over.

Other being music related and using a spotlight, English and Sampson are very different dudes. They're both generating exactly the type of heat they should be getting

Now that i think back a little more, Smackdown Live was set up to FAIL from the jump.

Remember the draft? We were all in the thresd on here saying SD got screwed over and Raw took all the top ppl like Rolljn9, Reigns, Sasha Charlotte, Brock, HHH/Steph....the biggest name SD got was Cena, who was gonna be gone most of the time.

But SD with a non action Daniel Bryan(oppsite a poor performing Foley on raw) , Shane, and the "leftover" talent and got everyone over to the point where it truly became the "land of opportunity"

Vince set it up to fail, but it ended up outperforming Raw....and that is when they decided to killl it

Vince put Road Dogg in charge to sabotage SD just like how he "sent" Russo to WCW


Final nail in the coffin will be when Styles gets moved to Raw next year
