The prequels did exactly what Lucas wanted.

Make the visuals, scope of the original series he always wanted. Everything else was secondary.

breh, as a kid, this was the first movie i remember vividly where i was afraid for the heroes. vader was on their asses the whole movie
vader was like a step ahead/behind all through the entire movie.
the empire caught han solo at the end
the rest barely escaped with luke's hand cut off.

Han getting froze in Carbonite
Luke abandoning his training to save his friends
Landos betrayl, and then turning right around to help

It's the best movie in the franchise
I'd put ANH as number 2
ROTJ as 3

Nah. nikkas really tryna pull this. But the Prequels sucked too, bullshyt.

Again. I liked the Prequels, TPF was a weak link but so was a New Hope , yes I said it. Not every franchise is gonna be MCU.

I respect the honesty but the MCU has way more misses than SW does, and it's lowest points are worse too.

I've said it in another thread, but the plot is there throughout the prequel trilogy, but the actual screenplays are awful.

Lucas was going through a divorce at the time, hence why the dialogue was so stilted.

Also Rick McCallum co-signed a lot of his bullshyt and no one fought him like in the OT (such as Irving Kershner and Larry Kasdan)....
