breh, we need those movies with all the best black comics. You just move people up. Eddie assumes the Richard Pryor Role, so now Quick is the leader, then you have younger comics Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Kevin Hart, Cedric the Entertainer. Have Monique play the daughter of Della Resse's character. You trying to tell me that lineup couldn't put together a funny movie. Of course not as funny as the OG, but what do we have now a days?

Ben Stiller, Will Farrell and their boys stay putting out movies together, while the best AA comedians don't. The Younger generation needs their classics too :shaq:
NO this movie sucks and the actors you named are old , no leave this one in the grave.

Expecting Eddie to be what he once was is something that we know will never happen with him either being 60 or close to it. He's still funny as hell though and can still put on a decent performance.

He got rich and his perspectives on life changed. That’s all. Same thing that happened with Martin and everyone else. It’s not like these guys are no longer funny, it’s just they don’t relate to the audience that initially made them famous and vice versa. Rich folks probably find Eddie more hilarious now than Raw era Eddie.

the funniest comic i ever saw was Dice Clay after his UPN show bombed & he got banned from some other shows....he just did not give a fuk & had all this new slang....this was like late 90's/early 2000s.....he was like a wrestling character turned heel....not trying to fit in & said fuk the business....

Come on breh, his hit ratio isn't good but he's still had good movies

Life
Bowfinger (it's a meta movie, so not for everyone)
Shrek; he can probably retire of that franchise alone
Pluto Nash (not for everyone I really liked it)
Dream Girls

Complain about Bruce Willis or Nicholas Cage, he's nowhere near their downfalls
