I don't see that happening again anytime soon for a center. And he did this at 6'9-6'10. Just don't get why bigs can't dominate like that anymore.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
4 years of college to work on his game, learn to play big and to figure out what works and what doesn't. There's honestly very little player development that takes place in the NBA, especially as far as big men are concerned. On the flipside in College from March till the next season is basically nothing but time to work on your game with coaches.

Alonzo was just overshadowed by Shaq. Had he and Shaq not both not been in the same draft he would've been a star. A rookie big will never dominate like that again. These unskilled soft ass centers can't put up those kinda numbers.

Just looked at Zo's numbers and then looked at Tyson Chandlers numbers. It's a damn shame Zo never made as much as Chandler. Chandlers numbers are kinda shytty.

Centers hit the league a lot older and a lot more seasoned and ready to contribute. Is it really just a coincidence that the last great big man drafted also happens to be a dude that spent 4 years in college.

The college argument is true, but I also think that the emphasis by the league to push guards is what contributed to this shift. I can't say I blame them, but the time for a dominant center to come in and run shyt for a decade is now. Anthony Davis is not the answer either
