I always wanted to know what it felt like being a 18-21yr old in the mid 90s, that seemed like the decade to really be a part of. Sadly I was only a kid and a pre teen for the entire decade:mjcry:...fukk that, it was lit being a kid in the 90s.
Summer break
GOAT black sitcoms/movies
Attitude era wrestling
GOAT video game systems
Best decade for hip hop
:wow::wow::wow:

Though a wee youngin then, loved the 80s. Just remember how folks got down back down. More social settings, funny convos and simply shooting the shyt.:wow:

On the one hand, garbage weed, no good beer, peak of violence in our communities, nikkas wearing loud garish colors, Ronnie in the white house pushing craven materialism, and all the fickle sheep eating it up while he puts the final nail in the working man's casket, setting the stage for the problems of today :scust:

... On the other hand, no hipsters, no sound cloud or stripper rappers, and Street Songs, Thriller, 1999 and Purple Rain all coming out in a 3 year span :whew:

On a side note, you are all missing one of the coolest things about being a kid in the 80's.

WITHOUT QUESTION, 80'S KIDS HAD THE BEST TOYS!!!

G.I. Joes,
Transformers,
Hot Wheels & Matchbox cars,
Atari,
Nintendo,
Voltron,
Comic books,
Garbage Pail Kids,
WWF wrestling figures,
Etc...

Don't even get me started on the cartoons!

The 80s laid the foundation to a lot of the stuff you see now.

Drugs epidemic

The rise of the superstar athlete

Probably the best of the best music

That era of music is still sampled to death

The rise of the Middle East as a threat to the Western world.

Jim Crow being officially over.

Way more juke joints and club scenes back in those days.

Fitness and bodybuilding becoming mainstream

First mainstream computer was released by Compaq

Walkman was released in '79, but became popular in the 80's

The internet was invented

Great movies

I could keep going but I'll stop here....

90S WAS DOPE ENOUGH

80S SEEMED LIKE A COOL TIME

THE WORLD BECAME A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLACE AROUND 2010

More like 2001.

After 9/11 everything changed.:mjcry:

Since some may not know...

Like, if you had money in the '80s, you were living the fukking life.

That's probably the best era to have money in.

But, for the rest of us in reality, that shyt was violent as hell, and everybody was terrified of AIDS.

Like, I don't know if you nikkaz can even imagine how quick and violently AIDS came in and just crushed the buildings.

Like, people were afraid to fukk for like a decade.

That's why in all those old videos, people are talking about condoms constantly.
