i was thinking about this heavy a few weeks ago when they had a whole mix-segment of str8 bounce records. and im all the way up here in philly.

it would kill off trap music actually because theres alot more you can do with it in terms of rapping and spectator's entertainment. at this point, it would INSTANTLY kill off trap music.

this style of rap always gone take a front seat to other styles of rap in the city even other southern styles. what im seeing now is that upcoming artist new to the scene are realizing if you want yo chit supported and played then you gotta start incorporating that bounce element into yo chit. It dont make no kind of sense to be mad at the city when you trying to sound like something that aint even from the city.

But if bounce wasn't the main influence then it would frauding anyway. And u acting like they bounce are breaking out into the mainstream, the only one that did was freda and it was more due to his performance and tv the music. And most of the males are not bumpin bounce in the city so that wouldn't be impressing your local crowd. Dudes ain't out here bumpin down in the whip on the regular. Juvi didnt break the mainstream off bounce, neither did slim and they both started as bounce artist before traditional rappers.

Bounce today is a very Regional right now, none of it will bust the mainstream up, the most popular songs are sped up mainstream songs wit the bounce beat over them, the only one that had a chance at leaving the area was "met me halfway", and since he ain't really sign to nobody they probably missed its opportunity. And I don't think he has the image that would pop anyway. He don't look the part
