Idk bout that, none bounce rap is still in the forefront wit dudes. Females for sure is bounce heavy.this style of rap always gone take a front seat to other styles of rap in the city even other southern styles. what im seeing now is that upcoming artist new to the scene are realizing if you want yo chit supported and played then you gotta start incorporating that bounce element into yo chit. It dont make no kind of sense to be mad at the city when you trying to sound like something that aint even from the city.
why does it have to be this outdated bullshyt? you're acting like NO doesn't have a rich musical history.this style of rap always gone take a front seat to other styles of rap in the city even other southern styles. what im seeing now is that upcoming artist new to the scene are realizing if you want yo chit supported and played then you gotta start incorporating that bounce element into yo chit. it amazes me that nobody bothered to truly capitalize on it.
i was thinking about this heavy a few weeks ago when they had a whole mix-segment of str8 bounce records. and im all the way up here in philly.
it would kill off trap music actually because theres alot more you can do with it in terms of rapping and spectator's entertainment. at this point, it would INSTANTLY kill off trap music.
But if bounce wasn't the main influence then it would frauding anyway. And u acting like they bounce are breaking out into the mainstream, the only one that did was freda and it was more due to his performance and tv the music. And most of the males are not bumpin bounce in the city so that wouldn't be impressing your local crowd. Dudes ain't out here bumpin down in the whip on the regular. Juvi didnt break the mainstream off bounce, neither did slim and they both started as bounce artist before traditional rappers. They gone stay broke then wondering why its so hard thats just bad business sense on they part regardless if they can rap. Many kept thinking they might be the next wayne but that rock and roll chit dont work at the second line. Trill ent had some success with bounce elements behind big wayne production and they still eating good off that chit around louisiana. The women gone always pump it no matter where its coming from. Think the city full of haters nah the city just dont fukk with yo music lol
I'm saying is bru worry about the $5k $10k first before you already in yo buggatti blowin millions.
Impress yo local base with the sounds they want to hear and progress from there.
