Bounce never got big..because MIAMI BASS BOOTY MUSIC was already a national phenomenon

2 LIVE CREEW....GUCCI CREW ....DISCO RICK...POISON CLAN were bigger than ANY NEW ORLEANS BOUNCE ACT

at best Bounce music is IMITATION BOOTY MUSIC :manny:

Crabs in a bucket. I know first hand that if those artists would have come together and actually cared about taking bounce nationwide as opposed to caring about becoming famous, Bounce would have exploded.
:wow:

thats neither here nor there.

its all about outlets. or in this case; the lack thereof.

New Orleans style of music is niche. I just do not see the universal appeal in it.

:what:

new orleans is the reason why the south blew up and they carried it for years. what yall got amnesia or something?

as for bounce music, whenever a bounce record or even a knockoff bounce record gets national exposure, it blows up big.

plus it blends in perfectly with club scenes in other regions. especially places like philly, baltimore, DC, etc.

theres absolutely nothing niche about bounce music or new orleans rap in general. its the exact opposite of the truth.
