How come most African American superheroes names start with black

But i was wondering tonight.. how came their names all start with black and they're black

well black panther and black manta both have black outfits...

i know why it was done ... but why did most of the characters have to named black xyz

they could have invented the characters and name them anything but "black" something..

milestone characters although being black arent named black.. i think Dwayne Mcduffie also mentioned something about that do when he started milestone
