Kendrick and j Coles favorite rappers are HOV and nas

You guys saying the younger generation gives Wayne his props and looks at him like a legend are mistaken, Wayne can't even sell out a small venue. It's like he's caught in a twighlight zone between both generations, and even though he influenced a lot of rappers it seems both the younger and older generation look at him as a joke.

If HOV and nas put out a commercial today that they have an album dropping next week HIP HOP would pause and that's would be the talk of town ( see MCHG) if Wayne did the samething no one would care older or younger

here is my take and might be wrong, but...
nas and jay are serious about this hip hop thing and most importantly about their legacies in this hip hop game
i'm still waiting for wayne to take himself seriously. (lean drinker, skater, etc)
i cannot put a 'kid' in the same conversation with grown folks!!

:scust: more than half of his discography is mediocre/trash, he has no quality control. He became great in 05 but then fell the fukk off in 08 lyrically, then just became straight :trash: after 2009. His career was just really inconsistent

He also doesnt really have that definite classic album, the carter 2 could be considered his classic but its not the same level as like a reasonable doubt or a blueprint. His mixtapes >>>>> his albums :yeshrug:

05/07 wayne was dope though:ohlawd:

he is still a legend just based off his career and run alone :yeshrug:

I've always felt like Weezy became over-saturated with all the mixtapes and hopping on every remix or features.

Hov and Nas weren't jumping on features with just anyone.

I also felt like his mixtapes were better then his albums (just my opinion). Carter 1 was always the hottest to me, because he wasn't all leaned up or a gimmick.

Still wonder what Wayne coulda been if he signed with Hov.
