This makes sense to me...but...women (not even just on here, but generally) always goin' to the movies, or talmbat goin'
to the movies, or talmbat movies they wanna see.

And then when they say they saw a movie you ask 'em what they thought and they'll just say "I liked it" or "It was long"
or something bland like that without really talkin' about it...
like i said, they may not relate to them the same way we do because these movies are not as geared toward them as they are to men. that doesnt mean they wont see them as a good time waster or have some interesting elements. i doubt you ask those women about movies where women are the primary characters, and it would be hard to since those movies are few and far between. i could imagine if the shoe was on the other foot and most mainstream fiction was aimed at women, your interests in movies might be a bit more shallow...

That's true. But the ones who do contribute in here do get analytical and know their shyt. But we don't talk about a lot of movies geared toward women which is why I said maybe we're too much of a boys club. When you have threads asking how many shows feature main character "gets at hoes" you're not exactly ingratiating yourself to females :whoknows: Not saying that shyt should stop but it'd be cool for there to be a balance

I know all types….I am not saying I know any women personally who wants to analyze and obsess over Michael Mann movies, and his intrinsic way of showcasing criminality and their world and vulnerabilities….But, I know a few on here, and outside the Coli, who seem cool as fukk, and knowledgeable and opinionated….which is all I hope to ask for, no one says you have to like what I do…movies or otherwise, but it's opinions, points of view, passions which make life, and people interesting. The funny shyt is, I watch or have watched a bunch of romance dramas and romcoms, I fukk with them, so I know my way around those.

Two things, I liked that I read in here about what kind of movies women are (generally) interested in, or like to discuss….while not stereotyping, I don't expect MOST women to love action movies, or whatever..I don't even like that shyt. Case in point, my friend is complaining about his girl, says she falls asleep always while they watch movies, I know dudes taste….it is questionable at best, and very Netflix streaming centered….Unless its a romantic comedy , or romanic drama (which he hates)….I'm like watch a few of those then, if it's THAT important to watch movies together….Don't expect her to love your movie taste, and you can't even tolerate hers.

Second, I saw like 40 movies in theaters last year…all by myself. So, I rarely watch movies with women, or anyone else. However, I saw that latest 'Hunger Games' with three sisters the other day, and had a hilarious post movie wrap up, leaving the theater. Wasn't like they were die hard zealots of 'Hunger Games' either.

Dumb thots just wanna watch Love and hip hop
Was it dumb thots posting in the upped Power and Empire(aka Love & Hip Hop with a script...wait:patrice:) threads in The Film Room?:mjpls:

Women don't post here en masse because The Locker Room fits their needs perfectly. They talk about the shows they like over there while simultaneously talking about whatever else they want to talk about in that forum. They basically have no need to leave The Locker Room. I'm pretty sure forums that are predominately female(Lipstick Alley for instance) have their TV/Movie subforums
