Why do ya'll act like wearing a suit is the only way to dress up? Please tell me that you're under 25, thinking that sneakers are appropriate to wear everywhere.

Your dreams
OR...

Be yourself and wear what makes you look good and, more importantly, feel good.

Never understand why people romanticise "the good old days". It was just as, shytty if not more shyttty, than today.

Hip-hop culture took over as the main influence of black men, more specifically young black men.

Ain't shyt "mature", "sophisticated", "classy" and "debonair" about hip-hop culture which is why you see these dudes getting all these face tats trying to look like their favorite rapper

And people try tell us hip-hop is harmless and has no significant influence and impact on people..

Working in retail industry transformed my wardrobe

I used to rock t-shirts, timbs, sneakers and jeans

I notice when I wear fitted blazers and dress pants I get a lot of attention from the opposite sex. Not gonna front, wearing a suit in the summer feels claustrophobic af. I be feeling like I can’t breathe and shyt lmao

At the end of the day, rock what you rock. If it comforts you, that’s what matters.

Why don't people rock bell bottoms no more

Because society, fashion, and culture changes

Same reason tattoos are acceptable now
They don’t rock the purple ones because the beige and green ones exist …

I noticed back in the day, a lot of men didnt mind dressing up

This was an everyday fit. Not just funerals, job interviews or for businessmen

Men in general had a more mature sense of style. Even teenagers and kids wore suits and business casual attire back in the day (20’s, 30’s,40’s, 50’s)

Now u would be hard pressed to find a man in a suit or dappered up unless he’s a professional, older dude, or going to a funeral. T shirt and jeans. And I cant even say that cuz everyone is wearin joggers or track suits/pants.

What caused this shift?
Old baseball games too. Everybody got decked out. Women too
