Outside of the obvious superstars, what rapper don't talk about they're underrated or don't get the respect they deserve :mjlol:
Way too many to name

And stop acting like you are krit by quoting nikkas any time someone says something about him in this thread

It's simple.

His best sh*t was his mixtape sh*t and his voice limits him. He's dope, but he never had the universal appeal to hit every kind of listener. When you really f*ck with his catalogue, you see his themes are mad limited. So he's not gonna have the reach that the other blog era rappers had. They were able to basically have something for every kind of listener. Krit hit a wall early on, and never recovered.

He was originally my favorite of the Drake and Kendrick group breaking through. I'm still not sure why he never gained any real traction. I know his first official album was a dud. A LOT of his fans were really disappointed in Live From The Underground. It definitely was not up to par with his mixtapes.

I thought Cadillactica was a good album and I was surprised the title track and Pay Attention never gained any attraction. I thought those were both tailor made, quality singles and they did nothing. After that, I knew it was never gonna happen for him. His subject matter and sound started getting repetitive after that. Krit's still my guy though.

If Country shyt, especially the remix with Luda and Bun woulda been on his debut album, maybe things woulda been a little different.

Had he arrived ten or so years earlier when the south was breaking through, he probably would have sold really well.

I really don't get the voice thing people are talking about. He sounds fine to me.

His best work in his prime was the mixtapes but they didnt get prmoted so he was all word of mouth.

Meanwhile other blog rappers like Wiz, Spitta, Freddie, Action Bronson, and Smoke DZA promoted their projects a lot more outside of the blogs. Also I don’t think he collaborated as much. The guys mentioned above were guests on each other tracks and other artists tracks all of the time so more people heard them and became fans.
I'm pretty sure his mixtapes were free because he didn't clear samples
