There actors, they have to shapeshift a lot for roles so they lose their native accent over. They have to reinvent themselves including their voices, mannersims etc for movie roles.....so u might catch a lil bit come out here & there but its not as strong.

Its also why so many of them have multiple personality disorder.

I watched a video on that saying that actors have to embody various spirits for their roles and it ends up fukking them up

It sounded like some tinfoil but had some merit.

How u live in DC all that time and havent noticed that COUNTRY dc accent? Its a mix of eastcoast and southern twang, very distinct. Maybe u was around alotta transplants.

U musta been up around Georgetown with them whites:lolbron::mjpls:

I’m from SE DC dude. I live right by Ballou High School and I never noticed any country accent at all. That must be a uptown thing.

Very wrong. Dc accent is very distinct. Only black Washingtonians have it tho so if you don’t know native black Washingtonians I can see why you would think that :mjpls:

Maybe I’m too accustomed to hearing it than cuz I’ve never really noticed any accents and I live right here in SE.

I didn't know Philly had a accent.

i don't think philly has one really.
listen to kobe, kevin hart, or the boyz 2 men dudes
philly accent is more so slang influenced more so than a certain sound. we have some words like bread and doll that we say different than new yorkers but our version ain't unique to philly
