How can you tell if someone is a White Hispanic ?

White Hispanic....to me......means I can't tell if you're Greek, Italian, Spanish, English, Scottish etc., just by looking at you.

Canelo Alvarez....that's white Hispanic to me.

Many Latinos will call themselves "Hispanic - white" on government forms because the majority of their ancestry is Spanish with some west African and Native American thrown in.

Someone like George Lopez shouldn't check the "white Hispanic" box but for others it makes the most sense.

The last two Cowboys QBs are "mixed." Antonio Ramiro Romo and Rayne Dakota Prescott. Tony isn't even thought of as half Mexican while Dak will always be viewed as black or biracial. Latino blends into American whiteness very easily unless it's Afro Latino.

For real when I see someone who I think is a White Hispanic I picture someone who looks like Christiana Aguilera or Ricky Martin. But some people on Thecoli see someone like Jennifer Lopez and say she looks white, but to me she looks like she would be a Mestiza same with the majority of Hispanics in America. Where I'm from most of the Hispanic's are of Mexican descent and the majority of them don't consider themselves Black, White, Native American, they just say that they're Mexican or whatever Nationality they are.

There were several different Indigenous groups in the Caribbean. Caribs, various Arawak groups etc.

False. Mestizo literally means mixed race. Mestizo is usually used to refer to a person with Native and Spanish ancestry. The indigenous people in Central america were Aztecs, Mayans etc.

The typical Mexican is most like mestizo, part white and native american and with traces of sub saharan African. Depending of the area of Mexico, and of course individually it varies. However the indigenous component is very pronounce. Just travel to Mexico city and it will hit you in the face.

Christina is basically white European from both sides. Her Ecuadorean father might have some indigenous heritage. Her mother's folks are from England.

Ricky and JLo, both have Puerto Rican/Caribbean ancestry, probably with varying mixes of Europe, African and indigenous (Taino) heritage within them.

The Caribbean features not so much the "Mestizo" blend off backgrounds, but mores the "Trigueña" mix.

Mestizo: a person of mixed blood; specifically : a person of mixed European and American Indian ancestry

Trigueña: in the Caribbean, someone of indigenous (Carib, Quisqueyano or Taino indians) African and European/Spanish heritage.

I wouldn't be surprised if on a DNA test, JLo's mom comes back with more Sub Saharan African heritage than Tina Knowles does.

Trigueña is not a specific mixture it is a specific look. You have 4 different people with Euro, African and indigenous and one be trigueña, one mulata, one jabao and one called white.
