How can you claim to be against white supremacy, but still perpetuate its legacy?

once again, i've said impressionable about a dozen times and you're free to search thread. but i am treating black men as a monolith when rappers promote killing us. so i'm still waiting for you to show me examples of whites doing the same.
examples have been posted. you called it killing, not murder

see how you strawman? show me where i said the majority of black people are aspiring to be rappers and entertainers.
so if rap music is only negatively affecting a minority of impressionable black people, the how the hell can you call it "black culture"

so technically, our hair is the culture :mjlol:

but when dudes rap their lyrics, that aint black culture? :mjlol:
'shake that ass'- everybody can do it

'give me a high top fade' only black people can do it

whats funny is that you want to argue that getting something specific to black people isn't 'black culture' but a type of music that little japenese girls are doing is "black culture"

he literally googled "heavy metal songs about murder"

none of which were songs where the white musician promoted killing whites. so instead of reffering me to barnetts post, i'm asking YOU for these songs--since you claim they do it all the time, shouldn't be that hard. oh, and try it keep it within the last 2 decades.

so if rap music is only negatively affecting a minority of impressionable black people, the how the hell can you call it "black culture"

uhm, because it's clearly apart of black culture. what's hard to understand about that?

if a person isn't a rock music fan they'd have to goggle to get your answer right?

but here is one that popped in my head and was very popular for some time.

only black people can get high top fades. you have to specifically learn about black hair in order to give somebody one.

you don't have to specifically know anything about black people to make rap music

We didn't "loose" anything. we live in a country full of different people. Culture gets shared. things change

The idea that "black' or "white" exists in a vacuum is asinine

saying Rap has become Pop/mainstream/American culture is not giving away any power, its simply stating fact.

rap music is no longer what young black kids do on the corner.

So just like I asked @marcuz which he was afraid to answer. Is Basketball "white culture"

its funny yall go through the thread saying The music is bad and it doesn't represent the average black person, black people don't control it, and its being used to brainwash young black kids.

Then you wana turn around and argue that its synonymous with black culture.

So are you saying black culture is synonymous with murder, sex, drugs, misogyny, ect?
Other people can entertain ones culture as a guest without it becoming their culture.

I can listen to latin music all I want but I will always be a guest to latin culture, I can also dress like a samurai but I will always be a guest to Japanese culture. Why? because they alway assert that its their culture and dont let outsiders get in the gain control.

Rap is still closely connected to black people to where its still our culture but if more people like you come to be then we will lose it and it will become just entertainment like basketball and rock music is.

Yes the current music is bad because it only has g rap being blasted 24/7 thanks to white people jumping in and using their influence to sway rap in the direction they want but thats another discussion.

We have to assert it as our culture and take it back before it becomes lost like rock but you dont want to do that because your too used to giving massa everything lol.

so what if only blacks can get high top fades? what does that have to do with black barbershops being black culture? once again, some of the tightest fades come from latino barbers. so how is it strictly black culture?

yeah, it's still apart of their culture. but it's also apart of black culture.

just like whites can claim hiphop is apart of their culture, but its still an artform/culture created by blacks.
saying it was created by blacks is not the same as saying it IS "black culture today"

Again IS Basketball white culture? none of this "apart of" stuff cause you don't give rap that distinction. Its either black culture or not

:laff: goddamn, you dudes are really scraping the bottom of the bin right now. a 2001 song that literally has NO lyrics about killing whites.

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floooooor
Beaten why for (why for)
Can't take much more
Here we go!
Here we go!
Here we go!
One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Four - Nothing wrong with me

One - Something's got to give
Two - Something's got to give
Three - Something's got to give
Now
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the flooooor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the flooooor
Now!
Push me again
This is the end
Here we go!
Here we go!
Here we go!
One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Four - Nothing wrong with me
One - Something's got to give
Two - Something's got to give
Three - Something's got to give
Now
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the flooooor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Skin against skin blood and bone
You're all by yourself but you're not alone
You wanted in now you're here
Driven by hate
consumed by fear
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floooooooor
One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Four - Nothing wrong with me
One - Something's got to give
Two - Something's got to give
Three - Something's got to give
Now
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the flooooor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
