How can you claim to be against white supremacy, but still perpetuate its legacy?

the day that we "wake up" will be the day that we no longer "accept" our image being distorted and manipulated for money and white supremacist gain. You've already acknowledged "propaganda" so you know it exists.

Like i said earlier, if black people ever awakened, our entire mindset would change. No longer would we allow our image to be purposely manipulated and call it "entertainment". You @philmonroe & @Barnett114 call this intentional manipulation of the black image "just entertainment". What this tells me is that you all have a long way to go to being "woke". Right now all of you are still sleep.
Has there been a concerted effort to demonize black people through popular media images? Yes

Is EVERY case of a 2chainz or chief keef a case of some conspiracy to create litle black drug dealers? No

Do 2chainz and chief Keef create little black drug dealers? No

Using your premiss.

Two tribes with brown colored skin would view each other just as differently as they would "cacs"

i don't know these rappers personally to know who influenced them. :what: what i do know is they promote a toxic lifestyle that is in NO way beneficial towards black people

But you said "nikkas"'didn't start using them until rap music told them to. But someone would have had to tell the "nikkas" to start using that stuff in the first place right?

It's called providing support/ evidence for his claims. Unlike half of you, he's speaking facts not emotions. Yall just bytch and moan about the poster rather than talking about the arguments.

Divide and conquer worked really well :snoop:

Hackneyed videos by "Youtube scholars" brings absolutely nothing of substance to any argument.

Fools will fall for anything somebody with a video camera and microphone has to say, and then try to use it as fact. There's absolutely no intellectual merit to any video I've ever seen @Phonzi post.

prove it, give me evidence of the word being used prior to 2013. but more importantly, who cares? it didn't take off nationally until rappers put it in songs, right or wrong?

On the first point, King Louie talked about the word's origin in a DJ Vlad interview. Two the second point, yes, like most of our slang, it has been shared through music.

okay, that's your hood. big rims were pretty popular in california. to the point where we had plenty of rent--a-rims shops.

You that that's just your hood then bring up California when you all are less than 10% of blacks in the US.

:dead:

and that would be alright if they were buying from black owned businesses. instead of buying whatever these walking promos tell them to buy.

Problem is there would still be buying their self esteem like they've always had even before the music.

i really don't know what you're trying to debate. blacks didn't fukk with "white drugs" like molly until it got the rap cosign. just like nikkas dont fukk with shrooms or lsd now--but let a handful of rappers make it hot, and nikkas will be tripping balls.

Yet I know people who have before hand.

Californian blacks are less than 10% of blacks in America, y'all ain't the world.

i can't bring you anything definitive because there is no stats on how much has been spent on luxury clothes. what is known is blacks spend over 500 billion every year on depreciating assets.

The trillion dollar spending power also includes mortgages, student loans, bills, and necessities, etc

i never claimed most people are drinking lean, you keep with strawmans. i'm saying nikkas wouldn't even be touching the shyt if it rappers didnt promote it. further more, i dont know where you get your prices. 1oz is 10 bucks on the streets out here. you can get a pint for 160.

You said nikkas are doing it yet now it isn't most. nikkas ain't everyone and don't represent black people.

and i agree with that, which is why i view AAs different from Africans. point is, the debate about biracials and blacks is not over complexion--that's oversimplifying the issue on purpose.

i said consumers didn't start using certain drugs or buying certain products until rappers promoted it. for all i know, the heads of their labels forced them to promote this lifestyle. as much as nikkas used to promote 22+ inch rims, they sure as shyt didn't own any of the rim manufacturing companies.

He's a white truck driver in the south.

:pachaha:

That makes sense, because 95% of his post come off like something I would expect to read in the comments section of a Yahoo News story about black people.

If he changed his S/N from Phonzi to PatriotLivesMatter75 he'd fit right in.

So basicly to conclude this before i bounce, all of you acknowledge that modern-day hiphop is a "caricature" of black people intentionally manipulated "because it sells" for the whites/J*ws who control it. Most black people are "regular working people" yet the music and images doesn't reflect this and none of you see anything wrong with this. Not only do you all not see anything wrong with this, you're "entertained" by these negative sounds and images of the black community. This confirms how oblivious to past history we are. We have no idea of the deceptive brainwashing technniques used by the white man to keep blacks passive, docile and easy to control. This brainwashing and conditioning of the mind goes back to the slave days

EmilysQuotes.Com-freedom-slaves-amazing-great-knowledge-Harriet-Tubman-Ignorance.jpg

Slave owners used deceptive brainwashing techniques to make their slaves docile and easy to control. Some slaves were so brainwashed that they didn't want to leave the plantation even when given the opportunity. Some slaves even LOVED their slaveowner because of this conditioning!!!! This brainwashing is still going on today in 2015. Dont let ANYONE make you think its not. Black people are still under psychological warfare. Dont let any of these clowns in here make you think its a "conspiracy". The black image is under attack. We are portrayed as savages & thugs on purpose. This is all by design. Its not "just entertainment" yall. Wake up and look in the past, why things are today will make soooo much more sense.

This is why the white man doesn't want us to become knowledgable of the past. This is why they alter and bury past events.

Peace my brothers & sisters

Yes the debate of "race" in America is and always has been about appearance. Not ancestry.

So white people influnced "black culture"?

I thought you said that doesn't happen?
