OKC will never win a championship like 70% of the NBA teams in the next 20-30 years
Those other teams are mostly due to circumstance, not bad decision after bad luck after bad decision
OKC will never win a championship like 70% of the NBA teams in the next 20-30 years
Keep him for the money he generates and to be honest his body won't hold up
Fire everybody
Sign players at league minimiums ( say the salary cap 150 million spend only 75)
Tank and build through the draft
Anytime a player gets good but isn't top five good trade him for pics
Don't even look at a free agent unless you can meet them both first and last ( get feelers during season, first team to meet, and always be the first team to know where the FA is going)
If you draft a good player who becomes very good the summer they become an unrestricted free agent if they meet with another team don't offer a contract
Hypnotise them into being great
Get some american Cacs without tats but married (OKC should have four cacs and a Hispanic) but no EUROS
Brand yourself as the all American American team with hard nose defense and rebounding
Hire a young coach but let him know the plan so pay him extra have him 15 years
Win titles in the late 2030's and early 2040's
They can draft but your limited drafting in your 20s to role players or specialist who might have peaked.
Bro, the west was neck and neck from 3-9 for most of the season. Not killing you guys but you gotta be realistic. This team never looked like contenders. They always looked like they will be competitive when PG was healthy but the issue is that you had limits to that.
My guess is OKC does nothing. They would love to move them but they just won't get an offer that moves the needle for them but if they are smart, they start the process ASAP. If you gotta trade PG13 straight up for value and maybe pay a team to take on Adams then do it. But Clay Bennett LT bill will be insane and this team ain't winning shyt with Westbrook on the decline.
This team has -31 million and a 50 million LT bill with just 11 players on the roster. The situation is extremely rigid right now. Cap wise, it's really bad. Westbrook's contract is Chernobyl
At this stage, he is a 6th man
Breh, if you betting on guys drafted after 20 to be all stars, you lost your fukking mindI get that but you can get good players who can actually play in the 20s n early 2nd round
Jimmy Butler
Malcolm Brogdon
Jarrett Allen
OG Annonuby
Kyle Kuzma
Derrick White
Monte Morris
Caris LeVert
Pascal Siakam
Montrezl Harrell
Kevon Looney
Josh Richardson
Clint Capel
Bogdan Bogdanovic
Spencer Dinwiddie
Plenty of starters and solid role players
Drafting late is no excuse
I broke the shyt down for you, why you okc stans so oblivious to the fact that sabo is getting flabbynsickNobody in the NBA is a contender besides the Warriors & by default whoever gets to the finals out of the east.
PG got hurt, Robes never came back, & Abrines vanished. That's their entire prefered wing rotation (with Ferg). PG got banged up again right at the end & they couldn't replace the void of the other 2 missing unless you really think 2019 Ray Felton playing wing minutes in the playoffs was the plan all along.
This is the first time in 3 years where there isn't a major thing that should happen in the summer for this team & dudes really in here yelling blow it up because of this series. They weren't going to win anything in 2017 because anytime Russy would sit down everything fell apart. 2018 with a completly different team they ran into a hot Jazz team & without Robes so they didn't have the defense to cover for Melo being terrible & Russy only caring half the time. This year they don't have any wings, PG is hurt, & they've had anomaly shooting games everythime out. If the Thunder just shot bad in game 1 & not drizzling shyts abomination bad this series is 2-2 right now.
Ignoring all context & boiling shyt down to they lost in the 1st round 3 times with different teams every year so blow it up is retarded. If they do anything "big" it will be trying to move Schroder most likely.
You know what nevermind.
