Especially an expansion franchise like the Thunder. They have to sell tickets. The fact of the matter is the gap between the Warriors and the rest of the NBA is so wide anyway I don’t see why people think like this. There’s some dignity in being a playoff team that doesn’t win a championship.

ITS NOT ABOUT WINNING THE TITLE
ITS ABOUT GETTING PAST THE 1ST fukkING ROUND.

THEY SUPPOSEDLY HAVE TWO TOP 10 PLAYERS.

By trading for Paul George? :wtf:

You don't remember how the entire league was circling OKC like vultures ready for Westbrook to be the next one to go?

The sobering reality is this: do you really believe in your heart that OKC could blow it all up and in 10 years be better than where they've been?

they will never be better than they were when KD was around and potential wise, obviously we know they had gold with KD, Russ, Harden on the same squad. Clearly keeping Harden wasnt going to happen and dude has expanded his value exponentially.

But, OKC is done. George stayed for who knows what reason. Couldve been out in LA doing whatever the fukk they are doing out there but at least the Lakers will be "something" sooner than later.

Its definitely going to be picks, someone eat all of Adams contact and PG.

OKC is 31 million in the red for 2019-2020 and that's only with 11 spots taken. They still got to get two more players. They have the worst cap management in the NBA. They also like GS are two time repeat offenders. They are going to get hammered by the LT
To think they broke up a finals team and let harden go because of owner cheapness yet now they have this bloated payroll and getting bounced in the first round... :picard:

i honestly see trades coming ...cant see this owner paying that much in repeater taxes just for this outcome

Like others have said, put Westbrook at the 2 and try to get a player like Rubio. But Westbrook cares too much about stat padding and triple doubles. :yeshrug: As long as he’s the guy with the ball in his hands, it’s first round exits. Presti needs to pull a Masai and trade Westbrook. He’s a fan favorite but like Masai said, what’s the point of doing the same thing over and over again?

Darren Collison. Ultimately whoever they put at the 1 will never get PG duties cause Russ would never relinquish them so it doesn’t even matter.

What's funny is that CJ McCollum is like 6'2" and is cooking the Thunder, but you got people saying Russ is too small when they're basically the same size

CJ can shoot though... that's the main difference and why he not struggling like Russ

KD was perfect for Russ, but KD was too soft. There's a lot wrong with Westbrook's game, but he is what he is. You have to take the good with the bad. But I think someone like Beal would be perfect for him, or even Klay...he needs a pure shooter and a good one. I don't know why people thought Paul George was a good fit.

Its a little too much disecting of Russ on the whole. The true issue is that Russ and Paul George very seldom hitting shots in the same game. Its that simple. One is always off or both are off.

Russ aint the guy you build around. Its that simple.

Obviously neither is Paul George, but his game is way more malleable than Russ's game.
